UD Las Palmas continued their winning ways with a 2-0 victory against an FC Andorra side managed by former UDLP assistant manager, Eder Sarabia.
In the first half, Alberto Moleiro helped to craft the first goal with a fantastic moment of individual brilliance, leaving Marc Cardona with the easy job of tapping it in from just a few yards. Andorra worked well to stop UDLP from playing the usual fast flowing style which all their fans have become accustomed to.
The second half was fairly uneventful but the introduction of Benito helped to secure the win, with the FC Andorra defender clipping Benito, who beat him to the ball inside the penalty area. Marc Cardona calmly put the penalty away, making him the leagues second top scorer with 3 goals and UD Las Palmas second in the division.
UD Las Palmas now travel to the Mendizorrotza, where they will face Alaves at 13:00 on Saturday the 3rd of September. Alaves sit fourth in the table with the same amount of points as UD Las Palmas
